Ching Shih

The twilight of Ching Shih’s short pirate career was impressive and unusual. By 1810, the Chinese government had given up on trying to beat Shih at sea. After obtaining assistance from the Portuguese and Brits, the Chinese put together a sizeable fleet to attack Shih.
