Henry “Long Ben” Avery

Pillaging his way along the African coast, Avery robbed from the English and Danes, taking on ivory, gold, supplies and building his crew to 94 men. In the summer of 1695, Avery joined forces with five other pirate ships, one commanded by the legendary Thomas Tew.
