Off the coast of Jamaica in October of 1720, Privateer Jonathan Barnett surprised Calico Jack’s inebriated crew at anchor. Incapable of putting up a fight, Calico Jack and most of the men stayed below deck, while pirates Anne Bonney and Mary Read fired their pistols and swung their cutlasses in rage.
